Initially I went to the One-Of-A-Kind show looking for a piece of art for my home office. I was immediately drawn to 'The Change in Weather' with its mixture of blues, greens and yellows combined with a black frame. Not the piece for my office, but it looks outstanding above the fireplace in the bedroom and I'm still looking for the right piece for the office.

Having lost my father in June, I really wanted to purchase something in remembrance of him. Emanuel is a very dear friend so he invited me to take a look at his work. When I saw his paintings, I fell in love with "The Garden", and not only because my father is now resting in the Garden mausoleum but also because he loved to spend time in his own garden. I have "The Garden" hanging in my family room and it helps me remember the good times I had with my dad. It also comforts me to know that he is now in a better place and is probably sitting in a beautiful garden like the one in Emanuel's painting.

I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful showing of your art on
Sunday. To say that your work is outstanding is an understatement!
Although we didn't purchase anything, I'm sure that our place will be
home to one of your paintings/drawings in the near future. We have
always felt that it is better to have original works of art than 
productions. Knowing the artist would make the appreciation
of that piece more meaningful.
